翼を大きく広げて滑空する鷲を描いた1950年代中期の作品。ボディのアセテート生地はネイビー×ブルー、鷲の刺繍もブルーのグラデーションで表現されており全体的に青を基調としているが、リブのラインに赤を入れることで色のバランスを引き締めている。

 

リバーシブル面は、桜舞う季節に雲間を駆け上がる昇龍の絵柄。数ある龍柄のヴィンテージスカジャンの中でも他に類を見ない珍しい構図だが、その顔はどこか笑顔にも見え、福をもたらす縁起の良さを感じる。また、こちらの面もレッド×ゴールドのボディをリブの黒いラインで引き締めており、両面ともに強い色彩のコントラストで構成された粋なスーベニアジャケットに仕上がった。

A jacket made in the mid-1950s that depicts an eagle gliding with its wings opened widely, features the beauty of blue color gradation created by combination of different shades of blue colored threads and the acetate fabrics.

 

On the reverse side it has a greenish dragon running up through clouds and cherry blossoms. The “rising dragon” has been considered as an auspicious design and appreciated in Japan. The impressive color contrast of red and blue acetate makes this jacket very stylish.
